| If ever we needed a
reminder of what Megaday was all about, then Megaday 2001 was it.
We were all hit for six shortly before Megaday when Paul Grahame
(PG) finally lost his long and brave fight with cancer. Paul
played lead guitar and vocals in the band PG and the Tips who had
headlined Megaday on many occassions. Paul had also played a major
role in the organisation of every single Megaday event.
Andrew (Mega's) parents requested
that Megaday 2001 be dedicated to Paul, so the event was renamed
PG's Megaday. Attended by his friends, family and fellow
musicians, the day was a an emotional celebration of Paul's life
and a wonderful tribute to such a special character. Total raised £11,500
