Battle of the Bands
As part of the build up to Megaday 2011, we will be holding a battle of the bands competition during Jul / August (dates TBC). The first prize is a day’s recording in the state of the art Eon Blue’s recording studio. There will also be runners up prizes of free rehearsal time at the studio. Times: Doors open 6.30pm - event finishes approx. 11pm

Entry: £5 per person
Kids: Pub environment - adults only
Parking: No onsite parking available
Refreshments: Drinks available onsite (no cans or bottles admitted)
Company Theme Days
We are asking local companies to help us support Velindre Hospital by holding a company theme day during the month of August 2011. Why not get your company involved? You could hold a dress down day, a theme day or any kind of sponsored / fundraising event that suits you. We will help and support all companies who participate and will promote your efforts on our website.
Event Details
Event: Megaday Fun Run
Route: Either a 2km or 5.5km route throughout Caerphilly
Date: Sunday25th September
Times: 11am start (Takes approx. 20-30 mins to run and 1hr – 1hr 30min to walk)
Entrants: Everyone is welcome (Adults / Kids, serious runners, fun runners, joggers and walkers)
Entry: £10 per adult £5 per child (sponsorship is very welcome but not compulsory)
Prizes: Winner’s medals (every registered runner will receive a medal on completion)
Dress code: Suitable running gear / fancy dress is great fun but optional
Refreshments: Free drinks available at the finishing line
