Another Fantastic
Success Megaday Sunday was opened by local band Jonny Concrete, who started a line up of 12 of the most talented acts in Wales. There was something for everyone on the bill, which boasted promising up and coming acts such acts such as recently signed pop duo ElecroVamp, The Hustle, 4th Street Traffic and Jaded. For those who like their music louder, Punk Legends Doc Savage smashed out their usual blend of class and chaos. The night was finished off by 4th Street Traffic who played a moving tribute to Andrew Nichols (Mega) and Paul Grahame (PG), the inspiration behind the Megaday event. They were joined on stage by all bands who took part in Megaday, together with Andrew's and Paul’s family for an emotional and fitting grand finale. It is hoped that this year's Megaday has raised in excess of £20k. Thank you to everyone who did their bit to make all happen, we'll see you again next year. |
